Application for a Premises Licence
Notice is hereby given that Douglas Christopher Jessop has applied to the Licensing Authority at Bassetlaw District Council for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 at The Gate Inn, 40 Town Street, Retford, DN22 8PT. The proposed licensable activities and relevant times are as follows:- sale of alcohol by retail Monday-Sunday 12.00-23.00 plus Seasonal Variations.

ointment only).
Any person wishing to make a relevant representation on this application must do so in writing to Licensing Section, Bassetlaw District Council, Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street, Worksop, S80 2AH by 02/05/2025. This must relate to one or more of the licensing objectives namely crime and disorder, public nuisance, public safety or protection of children from harm.
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is £5,000.
