Notice of application on 9 April 2025 to Guildford Borough Council for the Variation of a Premises Licence by Shell UK Oil Products Limited for Shell Little Waitrose Burnt Common, Portsmouth Road, Send, Woking, Surrey GU23 7JY to update the internal layout plan attached to the premises licence and to increase the opening hours and the sale of alcohol hours for consumption off the premises hours to 05:00-23:00 daily.
A register of licensing applications can be inspected at the Licensing Unit, Guildford Borough Council, Council Offices, Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, Surrey GU2 4BB between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday or on our website at www.guildford.gov.uk/la03applications
Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the Council address shown above, or by email to licensing@guildford.gov.uk giving in detail the grounds of objection by 7 May 2025.
The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Committee and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application punishable with an unlimited fine on summary conviction.
