What is proposed?

Notice of Application for a New Premises Licence Under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

Notice is hereby given that Chilli N Chutney Ltd have applied to the London Borough of Redbridge Council for a new premises licence for Veenas, 98 / 100 High Street, Barkingside, Ilford, Essex, IG6 2DR to permit:

1. The sale of alcohol for consumption on & off the premises from 10.00 to 23.00 Sunday to Thursday and from 10.00 to 00.00 (midnight) Friday & Saturday;

2. The provision of late night refreshment and the performance of live & recorded music from 23.00 to 00.00 (midnight) Friday & Saturday;

3. Non standard timings where the permitted hours for all licensable activities are extended until 00.00 (midnight) on Bank Holiday Sundays, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day.

Any representations by any other person or responsible authority must be received in writing by the Licensing Authority at the above address by 24th April 2025 stating the nature and grounds for making such representation.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
