NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LIMITED PREMISES LICENCE - LICENSING ACT 2003

Premises: Escot Park, Ottery St Mary, Devon, EX11 1LU Application has been made to East Devon District Council for a limited premises licence in respect of the Beautiful Days Music Festival to be held on 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18 August 2025 in the grounds of Escot Park, this for standard timings to permit the sale of alcohol from 1200hrs to 0100hrs on Wednesday 13 Aug (staff only) and Thursday 14 Aug, 1000hrs to 0200 hrs on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 Aug, and from 1000hrs to 2400hrs on Sunday 17 Aug 2025. In addition, for same to permit such sale from 1100 to 0400hrs on 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18 August 2025 for Staff/Artists in the Backstage Bar, and further for the Bimble Inn on Thursday from 1200hrs to 0100hrs, Friday, Saturday from 1200hrs to 0300hrs and 1200hrs to 0100hrs on Sunday. Further to permit the provision of late-night refreshment on 14, 15, 16 & 17 August 2025 from 2300hrs to 0500hrs.
Further to permit the provision of regulated entertainment consisting of live music, recorded music, dancing, plays, performances of dance and entertainment of a like kind on Friday and Saturday from 1100hrs to 0200hrs and Sunday from 1100hrs to 2400hrs. Further in The Theatre Tent 0900hrs to 2200hrs on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 Aug. Recorded music in the Bimble Inn until 0300hrs Friday and Saturday. Silent Disco in The Little Big Top on Friday and Saturday from 0200hrs to 0400hrs. Exhibition of films on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1200hrs to 2400hrs.
Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to The Licensing Manager, East Devon District Council, Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton, EX14 1EJ not later than 29/04/2025. Representations received after this date cannot be considered. All representations MUST BE IN WRITING
A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address during normal office hours or on the Council’s website: www.eastdevon.gov.uk/licensing/. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
