What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that Mr Hussein Mohamad Kadro has applied to Durham County Council in respect of the premises known as Glass House, The Castledene, Burnhope Way, Peterlee, SR8 1BT for the grant of a Premises Licence to permit the following licensable activities: Sale by retail of alcohol (Consumption on and off the premises) Monday to Sunday 10:00 – 22:30, Good Friday plus 1 Hour. All other Bank Holidays, an additional hour to be added to the terminal hour of the day preceding the Bank Holiday (i.e if the Monday is the bank holidays, the Sunday is normal trading plus 1 hour). A record of this application may be inspected at the Council’s offices at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham. DH7 8RS by appointment on weekdays between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm. Any representations about this application must be made in writing by the 1st May 2025 and sent to:

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
