What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34
Notice is hereby given that on the 27th March 2025 Mills Hills Development Limited applied to Liverpool City Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Black Cat Club (Formerly El Gato Negro) Unit 2, Exchange Flags, Liverpool, Merseyside L2 3YL. The proposed variation is ;- To vary the concept from a Spanish Tapas bar and restaurant to a competitive socialising venue, including change of name from El Gato Negro to Black Cat Club. The Premises Licence Holder, Licence footprint and Licence Conditions remain unaltered however the internal layout will change as detailed in the attached plan. The hours for opening and licensable activities will not be subject to change in this variation.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Authority, Liverpool City Council, Licensing and Public Protection, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool L3 1AH or - liverpool.gov.uk/licensingrepresentations no later than 24th April 2025 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Liverpool City Council the record of the application may be inspected on - liverpool.gov.uk/licensingrepresentations alternatively ring 0151 233 3015 to request a call-back for an appointment to view the application. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
