Ramsey Road, Winchester - Application to Vary a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Greene King Retailing Limited has applied in respect of the County Arms 85 Ramsey Road Winchester SO22 5DL for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for: To vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan, drawing number 24:36/14.

The main changes include new fixed seating, covered area and pergola to existing garden and patio, installation of front door to the corner of the premises, creation of new wash-up area, and the licensing of the external areas for the sale of alcohol. To add the following condition: There shall be no sale of alcohol in the external areas of the premises after 22.30 hours. The opening hours and licensable activities authorised by the premises licence are to remain unaltered.

Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Licensing Manager, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrive by 23 April 2025 i.e. within twenty-eight days of the date of this Notice; details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment. The representations received and the applicants’ comments will be taken into account in determining the application. Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and published on the Council’s website.
