What is proposed?
APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003
The University of Birmingham is applying for the VARIATION of a PREMISES LICENCE at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham B15 2RS. If GRANTED the application will allow: the performance of plays (10:00- 23:00), the exhibition of films (10:00-23:00), the playing of recorded music (10:00-23:00), the performance of dance (10:00-23:00) and the supply of alcohol (10:00-23:00).
The licensable activities will be carried out from Monday to Sunday and will take place both indoors and outdoors. The supply of alcohol will be for consumption on the premises only.

Any person, who wishes to make a representation, must do so in writing, preferably by email to: licensing@ birmingham.gov.uk or alternatively by post to Licensing Section, PO Box 17831, Birmingham B2 2HJ
Representations must be made in writing within 28 days from the date of this notice, i.e. by midnight on 24 April 2025.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the licensing act 2003, to make a false statement in or in connection with this application. Those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
