Notice of Application

for a New Premises Licence

Under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

Notice is hereby given that Mr Badar Abbas Butt has applied to the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Council for a new premises licence for Best One, 38 High Street, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 1HL to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from 08.00 to 23.00 Sunday to Thursday and from 08.00 to 00.00 (midnight) Friday & Saturday.

The address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected during normal business hours is Regulatory Services, The Licensing Team, Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Council, Guildhall 2, High Street, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU or on the Council’s website: www.kingston.gov.uk

Any representations by any other person or responsible authority must be received in writing by the Licensing Authority by 15th April 2025 stating the nature and grounds for making such representation.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with any application. The maximum fine on summary conviction for this offence is an unlimited fine.
