Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003) Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water

Ecologia Environmental Solutions Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from groundwater at Stafford Road, Wolverhampton at National Grid Reference: SJ 91368 00430.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

• 3.2 cubic metres an hour

• 80 cubic metres a day

• 29,200 cubic metres a year

• between June 2025 and May 2026 inclusive.

The water will be used for groundwater remediation.
