What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by The Charleston Bakewell
Limited to the Licensing Authority of Derbyshire Dales
District Council for a Premises Licence for the The
Charleston at The Square, Bakewell, DE45 1BT. The
application includes the following terms: 1. To enable the
sale of alcohol from 08.00 to 01.00 the following mornings
Mondays to Sundays. 2. To permit late night refreshment
from 23.00 to 01.00 the following mornings Mondays to
Sundays. 3. To permit sale of alcohol and late night
refreshment on New Year’s Eve until 02.00 following
morning and to permit live and recorded music on New
Year’s Eve from 23.00 to 02.00 the following morning. The

Representations can be made in writing at any time up to
and including 17th April 2025 (representations must contain
full name and address of person making representation and
a contact telephone number). Representations can be posted
to: Licensing Manager, Licensing Section, Derbyshire
Dales District Council, Town Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire,
DE4 3NN (telephone: 01629 761374)
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make
a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
