NEW PREMISES LICENCE APPLICATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application was made to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for a NEW premises licence under the above Act on 12th March 2025.

The application was made by Rajeevan Thevarajah for Rako News Centre Unit K8, Festival Place, Basingstoke, RG21 7BE, to permit the retail sale of alcohol off the premises only between the hours of 08:00 and 21:00, with opening hours 06:00 to 21:00.

Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the precise nature of such representations to the Head of Environmental Services, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 4AH, within 28 days of the publication date of this notice given above.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is £5,000.
