What is proposed?
Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Kanvas Birmingham Ltd has applied to Birmingham City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as Kanvas, 50 Adderley Street, Birmingham, B9 4ED.
The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the provision for regulated entertainment (to include plays, films, indoor sporting events, boxing or wrestling, live music, recorded music, performances of dance and anything of a similar description) and the Sale of Alcohol on & off the premises Monday to Sunday 10:00 to Midnight.
The provision Late Night Refreshment Monday to Sunday 23:00 to Midnight.
The opening hours of the premises will be Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 00:30 the following morning.
Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by General Licensing Regulation & Enforcement, Birmingham City Council, P.O. Box 17831, Birmingham, B2 2HJ, or by email to licensing@birmingham.gov.uk, no later than 7 April 2025 stating the grounds for objection.
The register of Birmingham City Council and the record of the application may be inspected on the council's website – www.birmingham.gov.uk.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application.
The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
