Taunton Racescourse - Application for a Premises Licence

DTS Live Events Ltd is applying for a premises licence for Taunton Racecourse, Taunton, Somerset, TA3 7BL.

The proposed licensable activities are as follows:

From 29th May 2025 to 31st May 2025, the supply of alcohol will be permitted on Thursday from 13:00 to 01:00, on Friday from 10:00 to 01:00, and on Saturday from 10:00 to 01:00.

The provision of live music will be allowed on Thursday from 13:30 to 23:00, and on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 to 23:00.

The provision of recorded music will be permitted on Thursday from 13:30 to 00:00, and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 00:00.

Alternatively, an appointment can be made with a member of the Licensing Team to view the application in person at the council offices at Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, TA1 1HE, by phoning 0300 123 2224.

Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to the licensing authority, detailing the grounds of objection, by Monday 31st March 2025. Representations can be made online on the ‘object to a licensing application’ page on the council website or by email to somersetwestenquiries@somerset.gov.uk.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for a person found guilty of making a false statement is a level 5 fine on the standard scale.
