What is proposed?

Application For A Premises Licience Under The Liciensing Act 2023

Simmer Down Arts CIC is applying for a GRANT of a premises licence for Simmer Down Festival at Handsworth Park, Holly Rd, Birmingham B20 2BY

If granted the application will allow: activities to take place: sale of alcohol on the premises: provision of regulated entertainment: provision of facilities for regulated entertainment on Saturday 26th July 2025 from 12 midday to 8.30pm. And the festival will take place annually on one Saturday in July or August.

Any person who wishes to make a representation must do so by writing to the Licensing Section PO Box 17831 Birmingham B2 2HJ

Public register at www.birmingham.gov.uk/licensing Representation must be made in writing within 28 days from the date of this notice.

It is an offence, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application.

The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for making a false statement is a level 5 fine on the standard scale

Representation must be made by 9 April 2025.
