NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF A LICENCE

PETTY SESSIONS FOR NORTHERN IRELAND AT BELFAST

COUNTY COURT FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

TAKE NOTICE that Harmony Vale Limited, having its registered office situate at 6 Jordanstown Mews, Newtownabbey, BT37 0LR, intends at the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL, on the 25th day of March 2025 at 10.30 a.m. to apply for a Transfer to it of a Licence at present held by Damien Curran, of 6 Jordanstown Mews, Newtownabbey, BT37 0LR for the premises at first floor, 607 Shore Road, Whiteabbey, County Antrim, BT37 OST, being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 specified in 5(1)(a), namely premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption either on or off the premises.



The said Harmony Vale Limited is a private limited company, Company number NI679164. The sole director of Harmony Vale Limited is Damien Curran, of 6 Jordanstown Mews, Newtownabbey, BT37 0LR and he has executive control.



The owner of the premises is Xafinity Pension Trustees Limited whose registered office is situate at Phoenix House, 1 Station Hill, Reading, RG1 1NB.



The licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the application.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the application is sought must in accordance with Schedule 5, Paragraph 4 of the said order serve notice of their intention to object upon the Applicant at their solicitor’s address and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the time of the court sitting at which the application is to be made.



The permissible grounds of objection are those specified in Article 22(6) of the said order and paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 of the said order namely:-



That the proper procedure has not been complied with.

That the Applicant is not a fit person to hold a licence.

The business or the ancillary business carried on in the premises has been discontinued.
