What is proposed?
Notice is hereby given that Chequers International Limited of 38 Palace Street, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2DZ have applied to Canterbury City Council for a variation of premises licence to extend the hours for the sale of alcohol from 08:00 – 21:00 to 08:00 – 00:00 7 days a week. Opening hours 08:00 – 00:00 for the premises Kings Mile Express, situated at 38 Palace Street, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2DZ.

Any person wishing to submit representation to our application must give notice in writing to the address shown above, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 25/03/2025.
The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain.
Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
