What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Jupiter Hotels Limited in respect of Premises known as Mercure Bristol North, The Grange Hotel, The Grange, Old Gloucester Road, Northwoods, Winterbourne, Bristol, BS36 1RP applied to South Gloucestershire District Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to permit the sale of alcohol to members of the public for consumption off the premises from 1100 to 0200 the following morning on Monday to Saturday and from 1100 to 0100 the following morning on Sundays and outside these hours on certain notable dates.

To permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises to residents 24 hours a day every day. These hours mirror the current hours for the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises. The opening hours and the hours for existing licensable activities remain unchanged by this application.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Department for Environment and Community Services, PO Box 1954, Bristol, BS36 0DD or email to licensing@southglos.gov.uk, no later than 19th March 2025 stating the grounds for representation.

The register of South Gloucestershire District Council and the record of the application may be inspected at South Gloucestershire Council, Licensing Service, Engine Common Lane, Yate, BS37 7PN or on the council’s website – www.southglos.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
