Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an
application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to
vary the Premises Licence for the Six Chimneys, 41-43
Kirkgate, Wakefield, WF1 1HX. The application seeks to
amend the following conditions in Annex 2 of the premises
licence: 1. Amend condition 8.1 to read as follows: “8.1
There shall be no customer use of the external areas of the
premises between the hours of 2200hrs and 0900hrs daily.”
2. Amend condition 4.1 to read as follows: “4.1 The
premises shall adopt a Challenge 25 proof of age scheme
providing for proof of age for sales to persons who appear
to be below the age of 25. Signs shall be provided within
the premises informing customers that sales shall not be
made to persons under the age of 18 and that identification
may be required.” 3. Remove all Annex 2 embedded
conditions and conditions 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 from the
premises licence. There are no other changes to the
premises licence. The postal address of the relevant
licensing authority is set out below and a record of the
application may be inspected there during normal office
hours or at
at any time. A person
who wishes to make representations regarding this
application must give notice in writing to the Licensing
Department, Wakefield Council, Wakefield One, PO Box
700, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB or by e-mail to
licensingoffice@wakefield.gov.uk.
Written representations
must be received no later than Wednesday, 12th March
2025.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act
2003, to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement
in or in connection with an application which, upon
conviction, carries an unlimited fine.
