IN THE COUNTY COURT FOR THE DIVISION OF NORTHERN IRELAND
BEFORE THE COUNTY COURT JUDGE

TAKE NOTICE that I, James Montgomery of 135 Broadlands, Carrickfergus, BT38 7BA,
Secretary, intend to apply to the County Court sitting at Laganside Courthouse, 45 Donegall
Quay, Belfast BT1 3LL on the 20th day of March 2025 for a grant of registration of Carrick
Castle RAOB Social & Charity Club situate at 7-8 Castle Street, Carrickfergus, BT38 7BE.
This application will be dealt with by the said court sitting at Laganside Courthouse, 34
Oxford Street, Belfast on the 20th day of March 2025 at 10am.
The registration of the club was last renewed on the 7th day of March 2013 and expired on
the 31st day of March 2018.
The owner of the premises are the Trustees of the club, namely, Mr. Kenneth Mulligan of 16
Cyprus Place, Carrickfergus, BT38 8EJ and Mr. Charles Palmer of 72 Rodgers Bay,
Carrickfergus, BT38 8GG.
The objects of the club are to further the interests of the Royal Antediluvian Order of
Buffaloes and to provide for its members amenities and facilities for friendly social contact
and recreational, sporting, educational and cultural pursuits and pastimes.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that anyone wishing to object to this application must, in
accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 of the said Order, serve notice of his or her
intention to object upon the Club at the Club’s address and also upon the Chief Clerk at
Laganside Courthouse, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, not less than one week before the opening
day of the court sitting i.e. 17th day of March 2025. The permissible grounds of objection are
those contained in article 5(5) and (6) of the said Order.
