(Article 44A, Schedule 9, paragraphs 2 & 3)
Notice of application for an order for further additional permitted hours

TAKE NOTICE that We Henry and Teresa McGlone (Dorman’s Bar) Ltd whose registered office is at 52 Desertmartin Road, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry, BT45 5HE being the holder of a licence authorising the sale of intoxicating liquor at the premises situated at 17 Queen Street, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry such premises being of a kind mentioned in Article 5(1)(a) of the Licensing (NI) Order 1996 to which an order of 11th May 2007 and 4th August 2014 under Article 44 of the said Order applies, intend to apply at the magistrates’ court sitting at Londonderry Courthouse, Bishop Street, Londonderry, BT48 6PQ on 5th March 2025 at 10:30am for an order under Article 44A(3) of the said Order directing that, on 104 days from 5th April 2025 until 28th March 2026 the premises may open for an additional hour beginning immediately after the end of the period authorised by the said Article 44 Order. Article 44A order dated 17th April 2024 applies or has applied to the part of the premises to which this application relates for a total of 104 days in the year prior to 29th March 2025.

The licence required for the premises for which the application is made by a council under Schedule 1 to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1985 will be produced at the hearing of the application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing in premises in the vicinity of the premises to which the application relates who intends to object to the transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 9 to the Licensing Order of 1996 serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the before the time of the Court sitting specified in this Notice.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 44A(5) and (7) of the said Order of 1996.
