What is proposed?

Application has been made by Whitbread Group plc to the Licensing Authority of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Barnsley (DearneValley) Premier Inn at Meadow Gate,Valley Park Industrial Estate, Wombwell, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S73 0UN.The application includes the following terms: 1.Variation to change the internal layout of the premises as per the drawing deposited with the Licensing Authority; 2.Application to advance the opening hours for non-licensable activities to 07:00 hours daily; 3. Alterations to non-standard timings for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day to bring this in lined with normal terminal hour for sale of alcohol; 4. An extension of 1 hour on New Years Eve on the current authorised hours. The application is available for inspection by contacting licensing@barnsley.gov.uk.A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 27th February 2025 (www.barnsley.gov.uk)
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
