What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE

2 HIGH STREET CANTERBURY CT1 2JH

Notice is hereby given that we, Shawarma Bros Ltd t/a Fish Bros have made the above application to Canterbury City Council to apply for the following licensable activities to take place;

The sale of alcohol (on premises) & music while the restaurant is open from 09.00 - 23.00 Monday-Sunday

Any representations may do so in writing to; Licensing, Canterbury City Council, Military Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1YW or by email business.support@canterbury.gov.uk no later than 26/02/2025.  A register of licensing applications can be inspected at https://www.canterbury.govuk/info/20012/licenses_and_permissions or at Council Offices, Military Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1YW tel. 01227 862000 by appointment with the Licensing Team between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. 

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests the identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain. 

Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. 

In the case of an application for a provisional statement, please note that representations will be restricted once a statement has been issued.
