Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Bookmaking Office Licence
NORTH EASTERN DIVISION

TAKE NOTICE that GALA CASE LIMITED having its registered office at 15a Pottingers Court,
Belfast in the County of the City of Belfast intend to apply to the Magistrates' Court sitting at The
Courthouse, 46A Mountsandel Road, Coleraine on the 7th day of February 2025 at 10.30 am for the
transfer to it a Bookmaking Office Licence at present held by J Rainey Bookmaker Ltd having its
registered office at 14 Hall Street, Maghera, County Londonderry in respect of premises at 22 The
Diamond, Kilrea, Co Londonderry.
The Applicant shall be the owner of the business to be carried on under the licence.
The Applicant is a body corporate and
(a) the full name of the directors are:-
Gary Thomas Toal, Lauren Ann Toal, Caroline Toal and Sean Toal.
(b) the full name of the persons having executive control are:-
Gary Thomas Toal, Lauren Ann Toal, Caroline Toal and Sean Toal.
(c) the full name of the persons having a financial interest are:-
Gary Thomas Toal, Lauren Ann Toal, Caroline Toal and Sean Toal.
The owners of the premises are Paul Dermot Raney of 5 Agivey Road, Kilrea, Co Londonderry, BT51 5UT
and Ciaran James Rainey of 22 Movanagher Road, Kilrea, Co Londonderry, BT51 5YJ.
Attached to the Notice served on the Clerk of Petty Sessions is the receipt of the Department of Health and
Social Services issued under Article 172(3) in respect of payment of the charge specified in Article
172(l)(f).
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person who intends to object to the transfer of the bookmaking
office licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 and 5 of schedule 5 of the above Order serve Notice of
his Intention to object upon the Applicant herein and the Clerk of Petty Sessions for the above named
district not later than one week before the date of the Court sitting at which the application is to be made,
stating briefly the grounds of objection.
AND TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds for objection are such as are mentioned in Articles
23(6) and (8) of the said Order.
