NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF A LICENCE

PETTY SESSIONS DISTRICT OF BELFAST
RECORDER’S COURT FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

TAKE NOTICE that we, Madame Pho St.Annes Ltd, Company Number NI710571 whose registered office situate at Unit 4, St Anne`s Square, 8 Edward Street, Belfast, BT1 2LR, intend at the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside Courthouse, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL on the 4th day of February 2025 at 10.30 a.m. to apply for a Transfer to us of a Licence at present held by Buba Restaurants Ltd, having its registered office c/o Flannigan Edmonds Bannon Chartered Accountants, Linenhall Exchange, 1st Floor, 26 Linenhall Street, Belfast, BT2 8BG for the premises at Unit 4, St Anne`s Square, Belfast, BT1 2LR, being premises of a kind specified under Article 5(1)(e) of the Licensing Northern Ireland Order 1996; namely a restaurant.

The applicant is the owner of the business to be carried on under the licence. The sole director is Zhencong Chen of 16 Harrsburg Street, Belfast, BT15 3JH. The applicant currently holds the licence by way of a Protection Order.

The owner of the premises is Ducales Asset No.2 Limited, whose registered office is situate at 16 Talbot Street, Belfast, BT1 2NF.

The licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the application.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the application is sought must in accordance with Schedule 5, Paragraph 4 of the said order serve notice of their intention to object upon the Applicant at their solicitor’s address and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the time of the court sitting at which the application is to be made.

The permissible grounds of objection are those specified in Article 22(6) of the said order and paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 of the said order namely:-

That the proper procedure has not been complied with.
That the Applicant is not a fit person to hold a licence.
The business or the ancillary business carried on in the premises has been discontinued.
