NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A
PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17
Notice is hereby given that on the 17th December 2024 Asda Stores Limited applied to Wigan Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express 36 Mesnes Road, Wigan WN1 2DD. The proposed licensable activities are;- The sale by retail of alcohol on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 07.00 to 23.00. Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by;- Licensing Section PO Box 100, Wigan WN1 3DS or via email licensing@wigan. gov.uk no later than the 14th January 2025 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Wigan Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the Licensing Section, Wigan Life Centre, College Avenue, Wigan WN1 1NJ between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive or via the council’s website www.wigan.gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
