Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an
application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to
vary a premises licence for The White House, 1 Bridge
Street, Luton, LU1 2NB. The application seeks to: 1.
Amend the commencement time for the Sale of Alcohol to
0800 every day (including non-standard times) from the
current time of 0900; and 2. Amend condition 3 in Annex 2
to read as follows: "Children to vacate the premises by
21:30 or 22:00 if they are eating a meal." 3. Amend
condition 11 in Annex 2 to read as follows: "Full menu of
hot and cold food will be provided until 23:00 each
evening." There are no other changes to the premises
licence. Persons wishing to make representations in respect
of this application may do so by writing to Licensing
Department, Luton Borough Council, Town Hall, Luton,
Beds, LU1 2BQ, within 28 days from the date of this notice
– Wednesday, 8th January 2025. A copy of the Application
is also kept at the above address and may be viewed during
normal office hours.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with this application. The
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for this offence is unlimited.
