Licence Fees & Charges

Cornwall Council hereby gives notice, in accordance with section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, of the intended fees payable with effect from 1 April 2025 in respect of applications for the licensing of private hire vehicles, private hire operators, hackney carriages and horse drawn hackney carriages or omnibuses in respect of all six taxi zones in Cornwall.

Private Hire Operators

1 year licence

3 year licence

Replacement, duplicate or re-issue of document

Replacement, duplicate or re-issue of document – emailed

Hackney Carriages, Private Hire Vehicles & Horse Drawn Hackney Carriages Or Omnibuses

Change of vehicle (full fee less the amount stated for each complete calendar month left on licence – 12 month licence will be issued)

A copy of this notice is available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Council’s Offices in Penzance, Redruth, New County Hall Truro, Bodmin and Liskeard.

Any objections to the proposed fees should be made in writing to the undersigned or by email to licensing@cornwall.gov.uk by 10 January 2025.
