What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

We One47 Group Limited do hereby give notice that I/we have applied to the Licensing Authority (Conwy County Borough Council) for the variation of our Premises Licence at, Club 147, 141 Mostyn Street, Llandudno, LL30 2PE known as Club 147.

The application is to: -
Removing, Annex 2 condition 2, All interior trading areas are visible to serving staff via CCTV (this potentially distracts the serving staff from their duty to ensure they are serving alcohol responsibly and is a duplication of Annex 2 condition 8).

Annex 2 condition 5, Toilet access clearly visible from bar via CCTV camera (supported by an amendment to annex 2 condition 8).

Annex 2 condition 8 (amended), The CCTV system will have cameras monitoring both interior and any external licensed areas. In the case of the interior of the premises there will be sufficient cameras installed to cover all areas to which the public have access.

Annex 2 condition 20 be removed, On any night if it is the intention of the operator to open beyond 23:30hrs there will be SIA registered door supervisors employed at the premises. They will be employed from 22:00hrs and will remain on duty until such time as the premise is closed for business and all customers have left. The operator will ensure that wherever possible at least one of the SIA door supervisors is female.

And replaced with: The premises will employee SIA licensed security on Friday and Saturday nights from 22:00 until licensable activates cease and the premises is closed. With the exclusion of Friday and Saturday nights the premises will review and risk asses the need for licensed security at all other times that may pose a risk to the licensing objectives (any assessment must be held on the premises and made available to authorised officers for inspection).

Removal of Annex 2 condition 69, Terminal hour of entry to the premises to 02.00am Monday to Sunday.

Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Head of Licensing Services, PO Box 1, CONWY, LL30 9GN not later than 28 days after the date of this notice (as below). 

Representations received after this date will not be considered.

A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s address during normal office hours.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction being £5,000.
