Notice of application for the Grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that we The Royal Oak (Burton) Limited have applied to Westmorland & Furness Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as The Royal Oak, Main Street, Burton in Kendal, Carnforth, Lancs, LA6 1LY

The proposed licensable activities are: Sale of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises 08:00 to 23:15, seven days a week and New Year's Eve and Bank Holiday weekends 23:15 to 00:30 Live and Recorded music indoors: New Year's Eve and Bank Holiday weekends 23:00 to 00:30.

Any representations regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Team Westmorland & Furness Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4DQ or e-mail licensing@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk no later than 13 December 2024 stating the grounds for the representation. The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the Westmorland & Furness Council office at the address given above between 10:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday or on the council's website www.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
