What is proposed?
The Licensing Act 2003
TAKE NOTE that an application for a new Premises
Licence Has been made to Bedford Borough
Council by Velour Bar Ltd in respect of premises
known as HIDE BAR, 2 RAM YARD, BEDFORD
MK40 1AL. The proposed licensable activities are
as follows: The supply of alcohol for consumption
on the premises and the provision of regulated
entertainment (live music and recorded music) from
11.00hrs to 23.30hrs from Sunday to Thursday, and
from 11.00hrs to 01.30hrs on a Friday and Saturday.
The provision of late-night refreshment from
23.00hrs to 23.30hrs on Sunday to Thursday, and
from 23.00hrs to 01.30hrs on a Friday and Saturday/
Non-standard timings also apply as per the
application.
Representations: ANY PERSON wishing to make
any representation to the application should write to
the Licensing Authority, Bedford Borough Council,
Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42 9AP
specifying the grounds for making representations.
Interested parties or responsible authorities may
make written representations these should be sent
to the Licensing Authority by 4th December 2024.
Applications can be viewed during office hours at
the Council or via the council’s website on https://
www.bedford.gov.uk/licencing. It is an offence
knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in
connection with an application, the maximum fine
for which a person is liable on summary conviction
for making a false statement is an unlimited fine.
