What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 - Notice of Application

Applicant: Forestry England.

Premises: Delamere Forest Old Pale Event Site, Delamere, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 2JD.

An application has been made for the grant of a premises licence to allow the following licensable activities to take place:

  • Sale of alcohol on the premises from 13.00 to 22.55 each day;
  • The provision of regulated entertainment in the form of plays; film exhibitions; live and recorded music; dance performance and similar activities to live and recorded music and dance performance from 13.00 to 23.00 each day and the provision of late night refreshment from 23.00 to 00.00 each day.

The licence if granted to have effect for a maximum of 10 event days to be held between the months of May and September each year and for a maximum capacity of 9,000.

The existing Premises Licence (21/PREM/34) will be surrendered if the application for the new licence is granted in the terms applied for or subject to any agreed conditions.

A copy of the application for the grant of the above licence is available for inspection at the office of The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA or can be viewed online at bit.ly/CWACApplicationsUnderConsultation. Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application must do so in writing to The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA no later than 21 November 2024 being 28 consecutive days from the day after the application was given to the Licensing Authority.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
