Notice of application to vary a premises licence

Premises: Dickens Bar, 41 Huntriss Row, Scarborough,
North Yorkshire, YO11 2ED. Notice is given that Punch
Partnerships (PTL) Limited has applied to North Yorkshire
Council to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the
Licensing Act 2003. The proposed variation is: 1. Extend
the terminal hour for live music, recorded music and
the sale of alcohol on Sunday to Thursday to 01.30 the
following day; 2. Extend the terminal hour for late night
refreshment on Sunday to 01.30 the following day;
3. Extend the opening hours on Sunday to allow the

premises to close at 02.00 the following day; 4. Add a non-
standard timing for certain licensable activities and opening

hours, as detailed within the variation; 5. Remove all
existing Annex 2 & Annex 3 conditions, and add new
conditions, as detailed within the variation. Anyone who
wishes to make representations regarding this application
must give notice in writing to: North Yorkshire
Council, Licensing Services, Town Hall, St Nicholas
Street, Scarborough, YO11 2HG or by email to
licensing.sca@northyorks.gov.uk.
Representations must be received by the date below:
20 November 2024. The application record and register
may be viewed by prior appointment during normal office
hours at the above address.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application punishable on
summary conviction by an unlimited fine.
