Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Licence

TAKE NOTICE that Kelly’s Tap Room Limited (“the Applicant”), Company Number NI634348 whose registered office address is at Unit 23 Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena, County Antrim, BT42 3HB intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Coleraine Courthouse, 46A Mountsandel Road, Coleraine at 10.00am on 22nd November 2024 for the transfer to it of a licence at present held by Sea Park Holdings Limited, company number NI698215, whose registered address is at 21 Church Street, Ballymoney, BT53 6HS for premises situate at 19-21 Church Street, Ballymoney, County Antrim, BT53 6HS being premises of the kind specified in Article 5(1)(a) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption either in or off the premises.



A Protection Order authorising the Applicant to carry on business under the licence was granted on 31st May 2024 by the Magistrates Court sitting at Coleraine for a period of 6 months from the date of the Order.



The Applicant is the owner of the business to be carried on under the licence.



The Applicant is a private company limited by shares of which the sole director is Alan Carmichael of Unit 23 Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena, County Antrim, BT42 3HB. No other person has executive control.



The Applicant is the owner of the premises.



The licence will be deposited with the clerk of the petty sessions before or at the hearing of the application.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer and renewal of the licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer or renewal of the licence must in accordance with paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order, not less than one week before the time of the court sitting at which the application is to be heard, serve upon the applicant notice of his intention to object, briefly stating his grounds for so doing and serve a copy of his notice upon the Clerk of the Petty Sessions and the permissible grounds of objection are those specified in Article 22(6) of the Licensing Order.
