Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003) Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water

M.F. Martin Limited has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/53/*S/0780 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Middle Level System at March, Cambridgeshire, from National Grid References TL 46010 96620 (point A), TL 44490 95530 (point B) and mulitple reaches nearby.
The variation applied for is to increase the annual winter abstraction volume to fill two reservoirs from 63,644 cubic metres to 80,000 cubic metres (40,000 cubic metres per year from each abstraction points A and B).
The application is also to increase the summer re-abstraction for spray irrigation from the Middle Level System from 57,279.6 cubic metres to 72,000 cubic metres per year.
