What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 - APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE VARIATION

Notice is hereby given that ShyneFest has applied to Guildford Borough Council for the grant of a Premises Licence authorising the licensable activities detailed below: film, dance, music, sale of alcohol from 11:00 to 23:59 for the premises Merrist Wood, situated at Holly Lane, Worplesdon, GU3 3PE.

A register of licensing applications can be inspected at the Licensing Unit, Council Offices, Millmead House, Guildford, GU2 4BB between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday or on our website at www.guildford.gov.uk/la03applications.

Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the Council address shown above, or by e-mail to: licensing@guildford.gov.uk giving in detail the grounds of objection by 22/10/2024

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous.

Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Committee and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine of up to level 5 on the standard scale (currently £5000) under section 158 of the licensing act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application.
