Market Jew Street, Penzance - Application to Vary a Premises Licence

I Mr Mathew Robinson give notice that I have applied to Cornwall Council as Licensing Authority for the variation of a Premises Licence in respect of Rumours, 96a Market Jew Street, Penzance, TR18 2LE.
The application is to : Proposal to change premises use from a nightclub to a sports bar and I am applying to remove and change some conditions following consultation with the Police. There are no proposed changes to any of the existing permitted hours and activities.
A responsible authority or other person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Licensing Team, Cornwall Council, PO Box 676, Threemilestone, Truro TR1 9EQ or email licensing@cornwall.gov.uk not later than 28 October 2024.
A record of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority's address Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment. Details are also at www.cornwall.gov.uk by searching 'List of current premises licence applications'. Alternatively, telephone the Licensing Office on 01872 324210.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction being £5000.
