Notice of an application for a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by PopCity (Manchester) Ltd in respect of premises known as Society located at to Ground Floor, 100 Barbirolli Square, Manchester, M2 3WS for a premises licence. 

This application is for a Premises Licence shadowing the terms and conditions of the existing premises licence for the premises that has been issued by Manchester City Council and currently numbered LC202405-476575, there are no changes to the permitted hours, activities or conditions and it is proposed that the following conditions shall apply.

The licence is to permit the provision of films, performances of dance, live and recorded music and sale/supply of alcohol from 11:00 – 23:15 Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 – 00:15 Friday to Saturday and late night refreshment from 23:00 to 23:15 Sunday to Thursday and 23:00 to 00:15 Friday to Saturday. 

Full details of the application are contained within the application form held by the Licensing Authority at Manchester City Council, Licensing Unit, Level 1, Town Hall Extension, Manchester, M2 5DB, where the licensing register can be inspected during the Authority’s normal opening hours or online by visiting their website www.manchester.gov.uk

Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to The Licensing Authority at the above address or to premises.licensing@manchester.gov.uk no later than 14 October 2024, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is £5000.
