Notice Of Application For The Variation Of A Premises Licence Under Section 34 Of The Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to East Staffordshire Borough Council for the Variation of a Premises Licence under the above Act on 9th September 2024 by The Two Pigs (Barton) Ltd: 

The Two Pigs (formerly The Red Lion), Main Street, Burton Under Needwood, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 8AA. 

It is proposed that the premises licence will be varied to Late Night Refreshment (Indoors and Outdoors), Sale of alcohol (On and off sales) Opening hours – Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 00:30, Friday and Saturday – 08:00 to 01:30 and Sunday – 08:00 to 00:30. 

Further information concerning the application can be viewed by appointment only at East Staffordshire Borough Council, Trent House, Millers Lane off Derby Street, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2NS.

Any person, who wishes to make a representation, must do so in writing, preferably by email to: licensing@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk or alternatively by post to the Licensing Team, East Staffordshire Borough Council, The Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB.

Representations to this application must be made by 7th October 2024. 

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to make a false statement in or in connection with this application. Those who make such a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount. Dated: 10.09.2024
