What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Bruntwood AV3 Limited has applied to Birmingham City Council for the grant of a premises licence for 43 Newhall Street, Birmingham B3 3QR (previously ‘All Bar One’) which, if granted, would allow: On Sunday – Wednesday: the sale of alcohol by retail (on and off sales), playing of recorded music (inside), playing of films (inside) from 10:00 to midnight; supply of late night refreshment (indoors/outdoors) from 23:00 to midnight; opening from 08:00 to 00:30. On Thursday – Saturday: the sale of alcohol by retail (on and off sales), playing of recorded music (inside), playing of films (inside) from 10:00 to 01:00; supply of late night refreshment (indoors/outdoors) from 23:00 to 01:00; opening from 08:00 to 01:30. An additional hour at British Summertime to disapply its effect. From the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on New Year’s Day.
he application effectively reinstates the previous premises licence prior to its lapse. Further information concerning the application can be viewed by accessing the Licensing Act 2003 Electronic public register at: www.birmingham.gov.uk/licensing Any person, who wishes to make a representation, must do so in writing, preferably by email to: licensing@birmingham.gov.uk or alternatively by post to General Licensing, Regulation & Enforcement, PO Box 17831, Birmingham B2 2HJ. Representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the above address within 28 calendar days of the date of this notice i.e. no later than midnight 26 September 2024.
It is an offence under s58 Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Those who do so, may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount. Date of notice: 30 August 2024.
