The American Dining Car Company Limited do hereby give notice that they have applied to Darlington Borough Council for the grant of a Premises Licence at Basement, Imperial Centre, Grange Road, Darlington, DL1 5PE.

The application is to permit the sale of alcohol on and off the premises 11:00 - 02:00 Thursday to Monday and 11:00 - 00:00 Tuesday and Wednesday; the provision of late night refreshment and recorded music (indoors) 23:00 - 02:00 Thursday to Monday and 23:00 - 00:30 Tuesday and Wednesday and recorded music (outdoors) 23:00 - 00:00 each day. Licensable activities will be extended to 02:00 on 24th and 26th December and from the end of permitted hours on New Years Eve to the start of permitted hours on New Years Day.

Interested parties or responsible authorities wishing to oppose the application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Officer, Darlington Borough Council, The Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington, DL1 5QT . Representations must be made in writing or emailed to the council at licensing@darlington.gov.uk no later than 6th September 2024, 28 consecutive days from the day after the application was made.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to level 5 (unlimited amount) on the standard scale, under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application.
