What is proposed?

OFFICIAL NOTICE: LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE

I/We Anita Foreman have applied to Newham Council for a premises licence for: CHANDOS COMMUNITY CENTRE, COLGRAVE ROAD E15 1DZ.
So that the following licensable activities may be provided on the following days and hours: Sale of Alcohol Monday to Thursday 19.00 to 23.00. Friday 19.00 to 00.00. Saturday 14.00 to 00.00. Sunday 12.00 to 22.30. All recorded music will be played inside in the lounge and the hall.
Newham Council's Licensing Register is kept at the office of the Licensing Team, Town Hall, 328 Barking Road, East Ham, E6 2RP. Where details of the application may be inspected, any queries should be sent to licensing@newham.go.uk
Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, by no later than the 27th August 2024. Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils' Licensing Sub-Committee.
Note: It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5,000 for an applicant to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
