What is proposed?

Notice of Application for a New Premises Licence Under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mr Thandauthapani Murugadas has applied to the Great Yarmouth Borough Council for a new premises licence for Southtown Convenience Store, 9 Southtown Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 0HU to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from 08.00 to 23.00 Sunday to Wednesday, from 08.00 to 00.00 (midnight) Thursday and from 08.00 to 02.00 the following day Friday & Saturday.

The address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected during normal business hours is the Licensing Team, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Town Hall, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 2QF.

Any representations by any other person or responsible authority must be made in writing by 29th July 2024 to the Licensing Team, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Town Hall, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 2QF or by email to licensing@great-yarmouth.gov.uk stating the nature and grounds for making such representation.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine on summary conviction for this offence is an unlimited fine.
