What is proposed?

Application for a Premises Licence Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that we Lidl Great Britain Limited applied on 8th July 2024 to Reading Borough Council in respect of the premises known as: Lidl at Unit 2 & Unit 6, Reading Retail Park, Oxford Road, Reading, RG30 1PR (units were previously Carpetright and Hatfords) for the Grant of a Premises Licence for the following Licensable Activity: Sale of alcohol by retail for consumption off the premises during the hours 07:00-23:00 Monday to Sunday.

Under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 (Premises Licences & Club Premises Certificates) Regulations 2005 the above-named person has applied for the GRANT of the premises licence. Any person wishing to view this application may do so at Reading Borough Council by prior arrangement between the hours of 9am to 5pm please ring 0118 9372846 to make an appointment or via email to licensing@reading.gov.uk. Any person wishing to make representation to this application must do so in writing by no later than 5th August 2024 to: Reading Borough Council, Licensing Section, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU. No written representations will have personal details removed unless the licensing authority deems it appropriate to do so. Any request for personal details to be removed should be notified to the Licensing Authority at the time of malting the representation.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum fine for doing so upon summary conviction is unlimited.
