I/We Harvey & Son (Lewes) Ltd. do hereby serve notice on 26th June 2024 that it is our intention to apply to Lewes District Council for the grant of a variation of a premises licence or club premises certificate to use or permit the use of premises known as The Bridge Inn, Bridge Street, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 9PH for the following licensable activities or proposed variation:
- Removal of films from licensable activities
- Variation of hours premises are open to the public – Mon – Sun from 0900.
- Variation of timings for the following licensable activities in line with the extended opening hours.
o Indoor Sporting events – Sunday 1000 - 2330
o Live Music (Indoors) – Sunday 1000 – 2300
o Recorded Music (Indoors) –
 Mon – Weds 0900 – 2330
 Thurs – Sat 0900 – 0030
 Sun – 0900 – 2330
o Supply of alcohol – Sunday 1000 - 2300
- Removal of outdated conditions consistent with the operating schedule
- Update to the licensing objectives
- Amendments to floor plan following the reduction to the size of the premises.
Any person who desires to make a representation to the variation should send a brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection to licensing@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk or Licensing Team Southover House Southover Road Lewes BN7 1AB no later than midnight on 24th July 2024.
The register and records of applications may be viewed at the above council office during normal office hours; summaries are available via www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum penalty for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
