LA44 LOCAL NEWSPAPER NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that ACME BARS LTD applied to HACKNEY COUNCIL to vary the premises licence at: The Haggerston, 438 Kingsland Road, Hackney, London, E8 4AA In order to make the following variation to the licence: Extension of hours for licensable activities from 12:00am to 01:00am for Thursday, 02:00am to 03:00am for Friday and Saturday opening hours and 01:00am to 03:00am for Sunday opening hours. Extension of capacity in the garden from 20 to 40 persons. Allowance of drinks in the garden in reusable polycarbonate cups until the garden is closed (30 minutes prior to end of licensable activities) The licence register listing details of the variation is held at the Licensing Service, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London E8 1DY (Tel No. 020 8356 4970). Details are also available on-line at www.hackney.gov.uk/licensing

Any representations against this application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Service at the above address, by no later than the 25th July 2024 Residents and businesses in the vicinity of the premises, or their representatives, may make representations on licensing objectives grounds only, i.e. the prevention of crime and disorder, the prevention of public nuisance, public safety and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5000 for an applicant to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
