What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a Premises
Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Georgica Limited has applied
to Kirklees Metropolitan Council for the grant of a Premises
Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Dewsbury
Tenpin, Unit 2 (The Retail Park), Railway Street,
Dewsbury, WF12 8EQ. The proposed licensable activities
and their hours are: Supply of Alcohol (on & off premises),
Regulated Entertainment in the form of Exhibition of films,
Indoors Sporting Events, Live Music, Recorded Music
(Indoors): 09:00 - 00:00 Sunday to Thursday, 09:00 - 01:00
the following morning on Friday & Saturday. Late Night
Refreshment (Indoors & Outdoors) 23:00 - 00:30 Sunday
to Thursday, 23:00 - 01:30 the following morning on Friday
& Saturday. Opening Hours 08:00 - 00:30 the following
morning Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 - 01:30 the following
morning on Friday & Saturday. Additional non-standard
timings: for licensable activities & opening hours New
Years Eve until 4am New Years Day; On Bank Holidays,
the day before Bank Holidays, Friday - Sunday preceding
Bank Holiday Mondays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day &
Boxing Day, 27, 28, 29 & 30 December - terminal hour for
Films, Indoor Sporting Events, Live Music, Recorded
Music, Supply of Alcohol to be 01:00, terminal hour for
Late Night Refreshment and Opening Hours to be 01:30;
on commencement of British summertime terminal hours
extended by one hour. See application & plans submitted
to council for full details. Any representations regarding the
above-mentioned application must be received in writing
to Kirklees Council, Licensing Office, Flint Street Depot,
Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG or by email
to licensing@kirklees.gov.uk by no later than 23 July 2024
stating the grounds for representation. The register of
Kirklees Metropolitan Council and the record of the
application may be inspected at the address of the council,
given above, during normal business hours or if available
on the council’s website - www.kirklees.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
