LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE/ CLUB PREMISES CERTIFICATE

Premises: Burnthwaite Accommodation Ltd., Wasdale Head, Seascale, CA20 1EX.

Notice is given that Burnthwaite Accommodation Ltd has applied to Cumberland Council Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate under the Licensing Act 2003.

The Licensable activities are: To sell alcohol to residents Monday to Sunday from 12noon until 2100hrs.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing, Copeland Borough Council, Whitehaven Commercial Park, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 8YD or licensing@copeland.gov.uk. Representations must be received no later than 17/07/2024 (within 28 days of the date of this notice) The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
