What is proposed?

Section 34 Licensing Act 2003 Licensing Act 2003: Full Variation of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Upmarket Leisure Limited has applied to the City of Westminster on 31 May 2024 to vary the premises licence for Radio at the ME Hotel, Marconi House, 335 Strand, London WC2R 1HA. The proposed variation is to vary the layout of the premises in accordance with the plans submitted with the application; remove and replace conditions 15-19 and 21 of annex 2 regarding the terrace areas; add live and recorded music (indoors only) between the hours of 08:00 and 02:00 daily; remove condition 11 of annex 2 regarding waiter/waitress service; remove and replace condition 20 of annex 2 regarding SIA provision; add a condition regarding WAVE training; remove condition 26 of annex 2 regarding bottles; and remove condition 39 of annex 2 regarding litter.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 28 June 2024 stating the grounds for making said representation to: Licensing Service, Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5QP or by emailing licensing@westminster.gov.uk The public register where applications are available to be viewed by members of the public can be accessed online by visiting at www.westminster.gov.uk/Licensing and following the link to the public register. The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above.

The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application.

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is unlimited.
