What is proposed?

Public Notice Licensing Act 2003 (Section 17)

Notice is hereby given, that an application was made to Leicester City Council for a New Premises Licence under the above Act on 30th May 2024. Applicant(s) Name: New World Trading Company (UK) Limited Address of Premises: The Botanist (Formerly Carluccio’s/Café Rouge) St Peters Square, at the junction of High Cross Lane/ Bath House Lane, Leicester LE1 4SA. Proposed Licensable Activities and Proposed Days and Hours Live and recorded music and the supply of alcohol: Sunday to Wednesday 1000 until 0100. Thursday to Saturday 1000 until 0200. Late night refreshment: Sunday to Wednesday 2300 until 0100 Thursday to Saturday 2300 until 0200.

The postal address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected is: Customer Service Centre, 91 Granby Street, Leicester LE1 6FB. Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature of such representations before 27th June 2024 to the Licensing Officer, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ or via email licensing@leicester.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of the application above.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
